On 16 September 2026, Aaryavarta took part in the Second Edition of the Bihar Startup Showcase at the Chandragupta Institute of Management Patna (CIMP). Our Co-Founder & Head of Clinical Innovation, Ratneshwar Singh, pitched our idea, HVIS (Human Vital Intelligence System), directly to the investor panel.

About the Bihar Startup Showcase
The Bihar Startup Showcase is organised by IntelliNexus Ventures LLP together with the CIMP Business Incubation and Innovation Foundation (CIMP-BIIF), with support from TiE Patna. Its tagline, "Igniting Ideas, Powering Bihar", sums up the goal: connect early-stage founders with venture funds, angel investors, mentors, incubators and industry leaders, so that good ideas from the region get a real shot at funding and scale.
The format is built around in-person pitching. Startups go through a multi-stage selection, and the shortlisted founders present to investors face to face, followed by focused one-on-one conversations.
Our pitch: HVIS
Ratneshwar presented HVIS, our AI-based wearable that reads a person's vital signs in real time and turns them into a clear danger score, before a situation becomes an emergency. It is designed for people who work where help is far away and conditions are harsh: soldiers on remote deployments, underground mine workers and tunnel construction crews.

The pitch covered:
- The problem: heat stress, low oxygen, fatigue and silent medical events are often noticed too late in the field.
- Our approach: on-device (edge) AI that keeps working even where there is no network.
- Clinical grounding: as Head of Clinical Innovation, Ratneshwar leads the clinical validation of the health biomarkers HVIS relies on.
- The team: a multidisciplinary founding team spanning business, clinical research, electronics and operations.

After the pitch, the panel asked detailed questions about validation, field deployment and our go-to-market plan. These one-on-one discussions were the most valuable part of the day for us. Investors challenged our assumptions and helped us sharpen how we explain HVIS to the people who will use it.

What we take away
Platforms like the Bihar Startup Showcase show how fast the startup ecosystem in Bihar and eastern India is growing. For a DeepTech startup like ours, the chance to sit across the table from investors, get honest feedback and meet other founders building in the region is worth a lot.
